BWY Training
The British Wheel of Yoga provides a number of training courses:
BWY Foundation Course
The BWY Foundation Course provides practical yoga techniques and personal development taught in the context of the philosophy that underpins yoga. It aims to widen experience and encourage study for serious students who do not necessarily wish to teach yoga, but also provides a basic grounding for those who want to progress on to train as yoga teachers.
The course is 60 hours long and may be run in different formats by different tutors. Usually the duration of the course is about 9 months to a year.
BWY Foundation Level Two Course is intended for those who have attended a Foundation Level One Course and who do not want to go on to a Diploma Course to teach. These courses are purely for further personal development.
